Ditto on the POVs. In fact, I couldn’t imagine it going any other way. This rapid sequence of psychic action was JUST the right sort of turn the story could take. It’s fun to bring readers into the character’s psychic abilities in a big way like that.

And now I’m thinking, “Oh f*ck–who the hell is Shane going to consult?” It’s kind of like Lord of the Rings when there’s ALWAYS something more ominous seconds away, with no rest!
