Or, perhaps, given that the time-frame is correct (haven’t yet figured when it is taking place), a Beckham reference.

Or really any popular figure in current British culture (not being British myself, Becks was the closest I could come up with).

You’re right; Addison is British. I’d wrestled with the “linebacker” mention when editing this part. In the end I took the lazy route and left it in. It was almost midnight, and I couldn’t think of a British equivalent. Any suggestions?

Cultural reference:
Addison is British, right? Her ‘accent’ implies as much.
Well, if I understand correctly, ‘linebacker’ is a position in American football, not usually a popular sport in Britain, and I have certainly never seen a reference to it in the mouths of British characters (or even British authors’ works, unless intentionally being an American cultural reference).

Your suggestion of “Previous” and “Next” links is excellent. It turns out there are built-in WordPress functions to do that. I just needed to discover them. The links are in place now.
