although i am enjoying this story i would like to point out that there isn’t a lot of variation in your use of words (i mean; that baby’s been radiating more than a microwave oven). to use a larger vocabulary might make the story a little less repetitive.

Personally, I like the small chunks, otherwise I wouldn’t be able to resume a normal workday until I finished the full 140,000 words…

JDR, we really do have 140k words. The thing is, they’re all first draft words. I’m doing all of the editing outside of my full-time job and other freelance work. So… there ya go.

BTW,I crank out about 2K words per day. That’s 10K words per week. However, I do this full time.

What I can’t figure is why, if you have the 140K words that you say you have, you don’t update more frequently. 140K is a fully qualified novel. Also, why break the story into such small chunks? Larger pieces would work. After all, this isn’t a webcomic.

I’m just wondering.
