But first, here's how you earn them. </p> <p><strong>Earning shares</strong>*<br /> Unless otherwise indicated, each of the following earns you one share.</p> <ul> <li> One forum post </li> <li> A tweet containing #strangelittleband, #Uhopping, #AGdate, or "Strange Little Band" </li> <li> A tweet replying to/containing @strangelilband, @addisonharris, @shane_myers, @ashlynnharris, or @brainiacjake </li> <li> Linking to SLB from your blog or website </li> <li> Friending SLB on Facebook or Livejournal </li> <li> Reporting a typo somewhere on the SLB site. Please report typos in a comment. One typo report = two shares </li> <li> Each review posted on Web Fiction Guide, EpiGuide, SciFi Matter, or Muse's Success is worth 10 shares. </li> </ul> <p>I'm sure this list will grow. Also, if you're not sure if we're counting your tweets, please tell me your Twitter username. Major spoilers will not be divulged, though. One share equals one vote, but you can vote as many times as you like. So if you really, really want a particular bonus story topic, throw 20 shares at it. I'm afraid that the nifty polls will have to go to implement this. Last night I integrated bbPress with the SLB WordPress site. Consequently no one but the admin account, Vanessa, and me can log in. We haven't lost anything, though. </p> <p>Let me make a few more administrative tweaks. Then I'll post instructions on how to get back on the forums. Should be quick and painless. </p>
