Oh I watched the first 2 episodes of season one this week. Which was interesting... I didnt realize that Broyles (sp?) was a jerk about the guy she put in prison (briefly) I cant remember his name, (the Tall White dude that was a Jerk for most of the second half of season one.) I feel like that was a ploy or they just decided to tone that down for the other episodes.

Also Walter hinting at his sons sickness that early on in the show?

2.3? What did you think of bowling alley guy? I still think shes a little unhinged, pulling her weapon on him? And oy, the Charlie thing is sad... Oh and new girl agent? I guess we'll see about her.

Ha! Jumping the Shark.

I felt that way about Lost. Though at some point I'm going to finish the series just so I know the twisted things they did to everyone.

Also jumping into the future like that is always risky. I remember Eureka did that but being a sci-fi show they were actually messing with the time space continuum so they went back.

I watched the fifth season premiere of Ghost Whisperer and I think that the show has just jumped the shark.

Not only do we get the birth of Melinda and Jim's son, but we jump five years into the future? Has any show been able to do the "kid" thing successfully? I mean, at least we didn't have the kid age overnight, and they let you know the five year jump.

I'm on the fence for this one, but I'm not sure where the show is going to go from here. . .

I think it's lost on some people? But I grew up watching bbc mystery (masterpiece theater) and other British tv that was available. I always like it because it wasn't just all that 90's sitcoms we had going on.

They should really just leave good shows alone, the whole "Americanize them thing" I mean I can't even imagine Coupling with Americans. lol

guess i'm griping about american tv now too.

Oooh lookit! A linky! (I shall click the linky when my Girl Creature goes off to bed. Don't think True Blood is safe viewing fare for a seven year old.)

I didn't jump on the Ghost Whisperer bandwagon the first season, I think I came in third season. Now, I'm watching sometimes and wondering what the heck the writers were smoking (and why they aren't sharing.)

I think they 'americanize' British TV shows because they think the sense of humour is too different between the two countries...?

Or they're just silly.
