He suggested to Ashlynn that what she had was a symbolic vision; being so young and still learning her way with her talents, she hasn't learned how to interpret symbolic visions. </p> <p>Ashlynn's precocious and ahead of the curve, but she's also only four and half. She would have noticed drugs numbing her abilities. He has a magically enhanced crystal that was created solely for such a purpose. It's not super powerful, and it does need to be recharged.
