This is in reference to EonKnight's comment on Chapter 9:Detente - Part 1, regarding Ashlynn seeing the spell that triggered the wedge between Shane and Addison.
Daniel actually planted the seeds of diffusion for that, back when Addison was confined after her mental attacks on Shane and Joon, in Chapter 7. He suggested to Ashlynn that what she had was a symbolic vision; being so young and still learning her way with her talents, she hasn't learned how to interpret symbolic visions.
Ashlynn's precocious and ahead of the curve, but she's also only four and half. She's daddy's little girl, and Daddy makes perfect sense.
