    Daniel could be played by:
    a) Daniel Craig - He has crystal blue eyes instead of green, but he could pull it off despite his "gruffness", as evidenced by his performances in the umpteenth remake of "Invasion of the body snatchers" and as James Bond.
    b) Dennis Quaid - Has the charm and looks. Can he be a believable, scheming bastid? I'd love to see him try.

Shane: Robert Pattinson - The girls like him, he's got the (lack of) build, and he's got that like/hate quality.

*edit* Like/hate quality as in he's believable as a prick that grows on you.

Addison - I second Gina Torres, or maybe Michaela Conlin (Angela on Bones). The ideal would be a black Gina Gershon in her 20s... :-P

Joon - Lucy Liu has the attitude, but she's tiny; wonder if the physical transformation will "work"?

Yay, Eonknight's here!!! Thanks for the casting suggestions!

Robert Pattinson? *shudder* I need to find some non-Twilight pics of him. He looks like a pasty Neanderthal in Twilight. Yuck!

*raises an eyebrow* Really? I thought all the girls were drooling over the guy. Personally, every time I see him, I feel like slapping him, which is in part why I thought of him as Shane: he is lanky, I can sort of see how some women would be attracted to him, sad puppy eyes and all, and he's a VERY believable prick (to me, at least!)...Another option could have been David Duchovny at the beginning of the X-files... but he's too old now.

A more sympathetic Shane might be James McAvoy (of "Wanted" fame); he's got that "guy next door" handsomeness to him.
