    Hee! Elisabeth, love that you're analyzing the characters and their motives. It means we've got you now :)

    Seriously though, there's a lot of depth to Shane and Addison (though we've seen more of Shane's than Addison's). They weren't born the way that they are, though their lives and experiences at Triptych have definitely molded them.

    Fortunately, I think it's safe to say that they're still learning about themselves, too.

    While I cannot promise that glimpses of Addison's past are in the near future, there will be bits glimpses and hints of Addison's past as the story progresses.

    Shane got to Triptych shortly after the prologue, when he was 17. He's 18 in the flashback in part 17. Yeah, he's naive. Silly boy. :)

    Part 19 concludes chapter 7. That was a long, hard slog! Vanessa and I wrote it on the fly. We only had the vaguest notions of how the horndogs split up.
