It's entirely possible that she simply likes playing with fire. . .
. . . but there's also some kind of history there that has been hinted at. In a moment of weakness, those old emotions/connections come back really strong, and Daniel's being quite the charmer. He's good-looking and charismatic, so it's not entirely surprising.
