    I like the bare bones feel, though some type of e-mail alert, when a topic is posted on replied would be helpful at some point. :)

    You can has email alerts! Look under "About This Topic." There's a (rather ugly right now) drop-down list that says "Subscribe To Topic." Give it a try. :)
