    If money for song licensing were no object, which songs do you think would be good for a SLB soundtrack?

    I'll start. Some of these are more serious than others. :)

    I am absolutely crap at this - have no suggestions. I really don't understand this whole soundtrack thing other authors have, although really, I should, since I have mood playlists saved in iTunes.

    The thing is, when I'm writing/reading, I want silence. Or noise I can filter out easily.

    For me the mood and/or lyrics of a song trigger associations. My brain just works that way. *shrug*

    Oh ho! See I love picking songs for my characters. Of course some of this has to do with me playing World of Warcraft. It's great to have theme songs to play along to and to write fan fiction with. Of course, before I started playing WoW, I had songs for my characters as well.

    My taste in music is different from yours, Nancy, but if I come across something that I think might fit SLB, I'll hit this thread.
