I was going to do that tonight. He'll be gearing up, gathering intelligence and then taking off with a small group of hired mercs to start snatching foreigners for experimentation.

So if he going to be capturing our protags as babies and we would write results of what happens if the characters were gone?

Pretty much. I was just thinking about this. How does this sound? If anyone has concerns or suggestions, now's the time to speak up!
Unless someone wants to create a new LJ community, the SLB LJ comm will be the central hub for Uhopping as it develops.
Heidi will kick things off with her bad guy post. It'll debut on her blog. I'll copy and paste to the SLB LJ comm and link to her post.
For each author in the Uhopping schedule (which I need to determine fast!), I'll create a new LJ post. The author will write the start of their bit of the story and post on their site. I'll copy to the corresponding LJ post. If the author wants to interact with the bad guy or characters from other universes, they'll do so via comments in the LJ post.
I have no idea how the story will wrap up. That's half of the fun, though. Chaos, it surrounds us! :)

Are our characters going to be "babies" or toddlers or does it really matter? Maybe we could have an LJ community where we do all our Uhopping, but SLB is fine too. Either way is fine, same platform.

You can have your characters be toddlers or not. Totally up to you. For SLB, Jacob and/or Ashlynn will be snatched. Addison and Shane will freak out accordingly. :)
A separate LJ comm is fine, but someone else needs to set it up. I'm overbooked as it is. I can help post/moderate, but don't want to take the time to set up, invite peeps, etc.

Addergoole - Lyn (@lynthornealder)We've already got a problem: eight universes! Even with a three day turnaround time for each, we won't get through all of the universes until Christmas Eve. There goes our "all proceeds to go charity in time for Christmas" idea.
Considering that we all have more to do in our lives than Uhopping, I think we should give ourselves a break and not worry about a Christmas deadline. So how about giving each author five days or a week to write their bit? That'll provide time for RPing if the author chooses to do so.
